February 13 – গল্প – golpo: “story; conversation” – an IBPOC community & justice care circle

Asha Collective and Hatch Art Gallery in collaboration with UBC Climate Emergency Week are honored to invite you to Golpo: An IBPOC Community and Justice Care Circle!

This will be an intergenerational and interdisciplinary dialogue circle for IBPOC students, faculty, and community members engaged or interested in climate, education, organizing, and/or solidarity work (and beyond!) to collectively discuss complexities, challenges, barriers, and lessons of navigating our respective practices and journeys as IBPOC across Global North and South solidarities with a focus on care and community building.

Join us for dinner, dialogue, destressing, and networking Feb 13 6:30 to 8:30 at the Hatch Art Gallery!

  • The Hatch Art Gallery is located on the second floor (Room 2126) of the AMS Student Nest (6133 University Blvd.)
  • Venue can be accessed via elevator on the same side of the building
  • Masks & sanitizer will be available at the check-in table
