About
Climate change is affecting how we live and our planet’s future. By taking urgent action and working together, we can plan for a healthy, sustainable and resilient community. Join Campus + Community Planning and UNA staff for a two-hour workshop to learn about the Neighbourhood Climate Action Plan (NCAP) and how you can help shape it. This will be the first of many opportunities to share what matters most to you. Dinner and on-site childcare will be provided. Space is limited — register at this link by June 19th. Reach out to Madeleine Zammar, Engagement Manager, with any questions: madeleine.zammar@ubc.ca.
Accessibility
- The space will only be shared by attendees, but due to the public nature of the event, we cannot guarantee controlled scent levels. We invite guests to be mindful of one another by refraining from wearing scented/perfumed products.
- Dinner will be served with various options to support diverse dietary needs. Please indicate in your registration if you have any dietary restrictions (allergens, food sensitivities, or preferences).
- Childcare will be offered on-site in a room near the main event venue. Please indicate if you need childcare in your registration.
- If you require any other accessibility accommodations, such as ASL interpretation, please indicate this in your registration and/or contact Madeleine Zammar, Engagement Manager at Campus + Community Planning: madeleine.zammar@ubc.ca.
